Maturity can be defined as an ability of an individual to respond in an appropriate manner. If the person is mature, he will be aware of the correct time and place to behave. There is a saying that “Maturity is achieved when a person postpones immediate pleasure for long term goals”. Yes, it is the true thing. If you are a matured person you will not consider your immediate pleasures or immediate satisfactions you will make sacrifices for your long-term goals. If you will try to seed your child with positive thoughts and positive mind, he will bear a positive rays in everything he relates to. I like to tell you a story to mention that age doesn't measure your maturity level.
One day a young man came to the railway station and he had a habit of teasing others for their weakness. His name was Ricky. When Ricky entered the platform he saw a boy with a wheel chair was crossing the platform . He tried to make jokes about him that “you are a disabled boy and you can’t do anything important by going fast. Let us go first and do something”. By hearing this the boy stopped by the side of the door and let the Ricky go. On the next day also same boy came to the railway station to pick up the train at this time Rick came to the platform and looked at the boy and laughed. When the train came the Ricky ran to enter the train before it stopped, but he slipped from it and the boy caught his head before slamming his head. Ricky wakes up and said thanks to the handicapped boy for helping him to prevent great injury. The boy then replied that “I was same like you before 5 years and I had made the same mistake what you had done today, but there were no men to help me at that time which forced me to spend the rest of my life in this wheelchair”. This story tells us about two things one is about the age related argument about maturity. Through this we can barely understand that age doesn't mean that you have a higher maturity level than others. The second thing is that maturity is all about the experience.
