Start Positive Thinking - Right Now

In today's world, with all the problems that we have to face on a daily basis, it is very easy to become cynical and extremely negative.

When you are almost always negative, it is hard not to worry because you focus only on the negative aspects of situations and events. So you might ask me: When should I start transitioning from negative to positive thinking? My answer to you is: Right Now.

Don’t wait for another day, because there is not a single good reason to stay cynical and negative. Some people might argue that negative thinking and pessimism are a good thing because they allow people to stay realistic and grounded. This is simply not true. In reality the world does not exist to force chaos into everyone’s lives.

When you think positively you are capable of creating positive things that will benefit yourself and those around you. When you harbor negative thoughts and emotions on a daily basis, you create negative things that will only prolong undesirable circumstances and conditions.

Believe it or not, people are completely responsible for everything that they have in their lives right now.

If you are wealthy and happy, it’s because you created those things in your life. If you feel depressed, anxious, and worried all the time, that means you have been silently attracting those things into your life and you have been feeding the circumstances that give rise to such negative experiences.

It’s easy to lay the blame on others when it comes to the causes of our malaise and worry. But the hard truth is that we as individuals have attracted all of these things to our lives because of the way we think.

Does this mean that there is a magical component to human thinking? Of course not. When I say “creation” and “attraction” I’m referring to the process of determination or human action.

Our thoughts determine our actions, and our predominant thoughts will dictate how we will view the world in the long term.

If your predominant thoughts are mostly negative, you will become extremely worried almost all the time because negative thoughts attract more negative thoughts. Have you ever attracted anything positive while you were engaged in gloom-and-doom thinking? Most likely not.

Most people worry constantly because they think physical reality is uncontrollable and things will inevitably fail or disintegrate.

If you’re one of these people, I invite you to adopt another perspective, which is crystallized in the following visualization script. In order to visualize, all you need is concentration, a quiet room to read the script, and simple faith in your ability to change.
